1. Can I use any sunscreen inside the Solar Buddie?
Yes! The applicator is designed to work best with cream or lotion-based sunscreens. Avoid using sprays, oils, or very thin liquid sunscreens, as they can leak or clog the sponge.
2. Is the Altruist sunscreen suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Altruist SPF 30 is developed by a dermatologist and is known for being gentle on sensitive skin. It’s fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and fast-absorbing—ideal for everyday use.
3. How long does the product inside the Buddie last?
Each Buddie holds around 100ml of sunscreen. How long that lasts will depend on how often you're applying and how many people are using it.
4. Can I clean the Buddie after the festival?
Yes, all parts are easy to clean. Simply unscrew the head and rinse the sponge and base with warm soapy water. Let all parts dry fully before refilling.
5. Does the cool bag stay cold without ice blocks?
The cool bag is insulated to help keep products at a stable temperature, but for best results in hot weather, we recommend adding a small reusable ice block or chilling your products before packing.
